TAPB 为淡黄色透明液体，属于酯类有机过氧化物。主要用于苯乙烯、丙烯腈、丙烯酸及甲基丙烯酸酯的聚合与共聚反应，作为中高温引发剂使用；同时也可作为合成其他有机过氧化物的重要原料。

TAPB is a yellowish transparent liquid. It belongs to ester-type organic peroxide. It is mainly used as an initiator for the polymerization and copolymerization of styrene, acrylonitrile, acrylate and methyl acrylate. It is also widely used as a raw material for the synthesis of other organic peroxides.
